STATE OF ART INFRASTRUCTURE

Infrastructure Excellence Hub

At Arris tooling, our comprehensive infrastructure includes a cutting-edge laboratory, advanced tooling shop, state-of-the-art forging facility, and a precision machine shop. This integrated setup ensures seamless processes and superior quality throughout our manufacturing journey.

MACHININGCNC Turning and 4th & 5th Axis VMC

We pride ourselves on our advanced machining capabilities with CNC turning machining and CBN turning, we ensure precision and efficiency in every aspect.

In addition to our turning capabilities, we leverage state-of-the-art 4th and 5th Axis VMC machines for slotting and angular drilling applications.

We have invested in high precision gauges to verify dimensional accuracy and maintain stringent quality standards throughout the production process. With meticulous inspection and quality control measures in place

GrindingExternal & Internal Precision Studer

Elevate tooling precision standards with external and internal Studer make grinding machines. Engineered for unparalleled accuracy

We specialize in achieving AT3 class tolerances for taper grinding, ensuring optimal performance and fit for spindle standards.

Quality assurance is paramount in our operations. That's why we utilize advanced inspection techniques such as the Precision Inspection Air Gauging System and the Mahr make Surface roughness tester.

AIR GAUGESHANK TO BORE RUNOUT

We specialize in producing AT3 class tapper holder and checks in highly precise air gauge.

Tool holder geometry, size and surface finish all have an effect on the cutting accuracy.

We check TIR of Tapper shank to bore run out for each and every holder and maintained TIR less than 0.005 mm.

Cutting tool breakage is due to excessive runout or eccentricity at the cutting tool (called TIR - Total Indicated Runout) excessive runout can have a significant effect on the life of tools.

BALANCING

Dynamic balancing on highly precision German make “HAIMER” machine at G6.3/G2.5 grade @15000/25000 rpm.

Ideally, surface finish is determined by feed rates, depth of cut and spindle speed. However, surface finish also is influenced by background vibration caused by unbalance mass in tool holder.

Unbalance forces of tool holder can act like additional runout in the subsequent cutting tool.

Tool balance is a key factor to consider for optimizing your cutting tools’ performance. Improperly balanced tools will cause poor part finish, uneven tool wear, reduced tool life, noise and possible machine spindle failure and damage.
